The Quo-Lab HbA1c meter from EKF Diagnostics is a compact point-of-care analyzer for fast, accurate, and reliable HbA1c measurement in doctors’ offices, diabetes centers, and laboratories. The test requires only 4 µl of blood from a finger prick or a venous sample—and the result is available within 4 minutes.
Accurate HbA1c Measurement with a Small Sample Volume
The Quo-Lab was specifically developed for applications requiring simple and cost-effective HbA1c diagnostics. The boronate affinity method is considered to be low in interference, and the procedure is insensitive to certain Hb variants. The analyzer achieves a precision of CV < 3% at 7% HbA1c and has a measurement range of 4–15% HbA1c.
Easy operation and efficient data management
The intuitive operation, featuring step-by-step instructions on the display, reduces the need for training and simplifies daily use. The built-in barcode scanner supports the secure capture of calibration, patient, and operator data. Up to 7,000 measurement values can be stored and transferred to a PC via the USB interface for further processing.
